Terms of Service

LeaseSwift is a SaaS platform that automates UK leasehold management pack generation for property managing agents. The Service uses artificial intelligence to parse lease documents and generate required forms and packs, reducing turnaround time from 3-6 weeks to 48 hours.

The Service includes:

• AI-powered lease document parsing and analysis
• Automated LPE1 form generation
• PDF pack compilation and delivery
• Payment processing for pack requests
• Secure document storage and sharing

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and identification
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Payment for pack requests is processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your use of the Service
• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees
• Understand that all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Managing agents may set their own pack prices. The Service facilitates payment processing but does not set or control pricing for individual agents.

Current Fee Structure: As of the date of these Terms, LeaseSwift does not charge a platform fee on pack payments. All funds collected from pack requests are transferred directly to your connected Stripe account, minus Stripe's standard payment processing fees.

Future Fee Structure: LeaseSwift reserves the right to introduce a platform fee in the future. Any platform fee will be clearly disclosed in advance, and you will be notified at least 30 days before any fee changes take effect. Platform fees, if introduced, will be deducted from the pack payment amount before funds are transferred to your account.

Stripe Processing Fees: Standard Stripe payment processing fees apply to all transactions. These fees are separate from any LeaseSwift platform fees and are charged directly by Stripe. Current Stripe fees for UK transactions are typically 1.4% + 20p for card payments. Please refer to Stripe's pricing page for the most current fee information.

Transparency: You can view the exact amount you will receive for each pack request in your dashboard settings. The breakdown of fees (if any) will be clearly displayed before you approve each pack.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LeaseSwift and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including property data, documents, and lease information. By uploading content, you grant LeaseSwift a license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for all content you upload, post, or transmit through the Service. You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate management packs and forms. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• All AI-generated content must be reviewed and approved by managing agents before delivery
• LeaseSwift is not liable for errors in AI-generated content that has been reviewed and approved by users
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all generated content

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseSwift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

LeaseSwift's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to LeaseSwift in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeaseSwift, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
